Configuring Lucent WinModem for fax sending/receiving

I have a Lucent fax/modem card [ 11c1:0440 (rev 01) ] and would like
to use it's fax capabilities. I tried to setup HylaFAX but I do not
know to answer all the questions asked during setup. So I just accepted
the default answers. In created config file
/var/spool/fax/etc/config.modem these lines wories me:

Class1Cmd: AT+FCLASS=1 # command to enter class 1
Class1PPMWaitCmd: AT+FTS=7 # command to stop and wait before PPM
Class1TCFWaitCmd: AT+FTS=7 # command to stop and wait before TCF
Class1EOPWaitCmd: AT+FTS=9 # command to stop and wait before EOP
Class1SwitchingCmd: AT+FRS=7 # silence between HDLC recv and trans

When tried issuing them in minicom first one was OK but the others
only make ERROR. What are appropriate commands here?
I tried to find this by search engine but what I found was only about
modem setup - not fax commands.
Can anybody point me at the right direction?
Thank you.
