Configuring ATI All In Wonder Radeon 9600 to work with TV Tuner

I'm following the instructions from here:

I've backedup x11r6.
Now I want to install ati.2
My next step is to download the appropriate version of ati.2 for my version of Xfree86.

How can I find out which version of Xfree86 I'm running?

I also see that it says: Radeon TV-input code has been merged into X.Org CVS, to appear in release 7.0.

Could it be possible that I'm running X.Org CVS? Should I Install it instead? Am I following the wrong approach wih gatos or should I proceed and continue with the insructions on gatos?

making progress.

Found this from the site:
Other pertinent information that you should include with your report:
1. The version of XFree86 you are using.
* If you are not sure, run "XFree86 -version" from a command line.

Here's what my system says:
X Window System Version 6.8.2
Release Date: 9 February 2005
X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0, Release 6.8.2
Build Operating System: Linux 2.6.3-25mdk-i686-up-4GB i686 [ELF]
Current Operating System: Linux localhost 2.6.11-6mdk #1 Tue Mar 22 16:04:32 CET 2005 i686
Build Date: 02 May 2005
Before reporting problems, check http://wiki.X.Org
to make sure that you have the latest version.
Module Loader present

Mandriva has ati.2 as an available package. I installed it.

I'm not sure how to configure it to watch television.

Has anyone else had success with watching TV with the all in wonder?
