configuration of cloud service in a 4g camera

hi,
i'm sorry if i post in the wrong category!

i have recently purchased a 4g camera device(no wifi) which gives a specific cloud service, free for the first month and paid optionally for later.
in the app there is no option to chose my own cloud service and the vendor gives no solution.
i was thinking if possible to have access through the usb port and change somehow this cloud service address!? too good to be true?

Without knowing camera manfacture it is not possible to say but I would guess not. Typically with the simple consumer camera like Nest, it talks to the manufacturers servers and the app talks to the same server which then displays the video stream etc. The server also saves video. From what little I know that is all hard coded which means it can't be changed.

The more advanced IP camera just basically send out a video stream which is then saved by a local physical recorder. The recorders manufacturer may have an app that connects to your recorder where you can see a live stream or recording.

goodmorning,

the vendor is "escam" and works with the "ubox" app.
it records in my "tf card" and/or on their cloud service.
i figured that would be possibly configurable because when i first bought it, it couldn't connect to my country's 4G carrier so i fixed that by using the "tf card" to upgrade the camera with a data file they sent me!

Are you saying you are satisfied with this result?
If so, please mark your thread SOLVED (see my signature).

If not:
A quick web search with escam 4g camera ubox and a few other keywords pulls up various videos and tutorials, maybe they can help:
