Huh?

Do you have any idea of how long that list would be? Who would have the time to compile that list, esp. against all the different Linux distros?

Do you want to buy something? If so, tell us the make and model and we'll try to help. Otherwise, try writing to all the hardware maufacturers and ask for a list of their hardware which will work under various Linux distros.

True, it's very hard to maintain such a list. However, SuSe linux does have a supported hardware database. If hardware is supported by SuSe, it can be supported in other distro's as well.

Check it out here : http://hardwaredb.suse.de/?LANG=en_UK

It does also contain a little information on what driver. If you need more, there's a large database at www.google.com
