Compatible DVDRW

Can anyone suggest a DVDRW drive that's compatible with Linux Red Hat 9 that I can use to perform data backup?

Lite-On 401

Hi. I got a Lite-On 401s after reading an article online about someone using it under Linux. Mine has been running fine for a couple of months, though I have to admit I haven't tried writing a DVD yet. I've burned plenty of CDs, but haven't had a need to burn anything that big.

It does, however, show up as a DVD writer, and iirc, the option is there in the software when I burn (I can't remember if that's XCDRoast, which I normally use, or K3B, which I occasionally use).

Anyway, it's about $100 on Pricewatch. They have the 411 model out now, but that's a bit more.

Have fun.
