Comparing two Intel i5 processors - comments please
I'm just curious how more advanced, if any, that the HP Elitedesk mini's Intel processor is to the older Elitedesk I had that just died.
My mini's processor is an Intel Core i5 4th Gen
My old desktop had an Intel Core i5 Vpro

And (again) you omit details, such as what generation/model Vpro. And if you're curious you could take the step of actually looking up the spec sheets and reading them:
https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us...rocessors.html
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us.../products.html
And why does it matter?? A bit of thought would tell you that a newer CPU will most likely be faster and more advanced, wouldn't it???

Without the two actual CPU models involved, no more than wild speculation is possible. Feature lists for each CPU are rather long, e.g. this i5-4590.
