Compaq V2240 Memory Card Reader Problems

I'm currently running SUSE 10.0 with updates to KDE 3.5on a Compaq V2240. I was curious as to how and if it is possible to get the memory card reader slots on the side of the laptop working. Any help anyone could provide would be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

1) just have a look at lspci -v and try google the output for the mmc slots
2) have also a look at tuxmobil.de or linux-for-laptops in the net
3) good luck
