Compaq Proliant 6000, need info please.

OK, here is the deal. A friend of mine bought a bunch of junk. One of the things he got was a Compaq Proliant 6000 server. It has only one CPU and it is pretty slow, Pentium Pro 200MHz. I said it was pretty slow OK. LOL I would like to upgrade this thing a bit. It appears to have PC100 type ram which is fine. I would like to add more CPUs to this thing but if I am going to buy some more, may as well buy the fastest speed I can get and put in all 4, if needed.

What is the fastest speed this thing will take? It has Socket 8 on the CPU socket thingy. 200MHz is the fastest I can find. I found one on ebay for like $2.00. I'm trying to find out if they have more than one or what.

Also, do they all have to be the same speed or can I mix and match?

Naturally, I already have Linux, Gentoo to be exact, on this thing. It had that Sun OS on it. No password so off it goes. 4.3Gb ultra wide SCSI drive too. So cool.

Thanks for the help. Oh, suckers heavy too.

BUMP

I went and looked at the socket where the CPU goes. It says Socket 8 on the white part. Anybody know how fast a CPU I can put in this thing? I looked on pricewatch and found a lot of CPUs that are pretty cheap but I don't want to buy one and it not be compatible, or even worse, blow up the mobo.

Anybody know anything about these things? Please share. I plan to run folding on this thing and am a part of the LQ team. I need some help here guys, and gals too.
