I notice that the initio.ko is not loaded in lsmod, so I tried to do a modprobe -v initio but get the following error:
Code:

insmod /lib/modules/2.6.18-53.1.4.el5/kernel/drivers/scsi/initio.ko
FATAL: Error inserting initio (/lib/modules/2.6.18-53.1.4.el5/kernel/drivers/scsi/initio.ko): No such device

scsi_mod is loaded but the machine has an internal sata drive and I think sg0 is the same as sd0.

Thanks for any advice. Ideally I'm looking for tools that can query the Initio card to see what it thinks is attached, and any reason why it's not creating devices in /dev. I know this card works when I dual boot back into ms windoze.
