Question Compaq Armada 1750 Sound problems

Basically my sound doesnt work. I'm using Mandrake 9.1 and Windows ME.
Sound is loaded OK in windows but Mandrake hasnt found the drivers.
I dont know the exact error message, but I'll post it next time I load mandrake.

Thanks, Kayfelix :-D

Ok pete, thanks, I'll try that. But I'm having great linux problems at the moment, so it'll be some time before I try it. in fact, im gonna wait till I get red hat, I cant cope with mandrake. and I thought windows was bad...
