Command to view motherboard info


i need a command to view the motherboard info like model number and so on. pls help

Some distros have dmideode included others do not, if not then: http://www.nongnu.org/dmidecode/

Sorry i forget to add my specs
im using Fedora core 5 kernel= 2.6.20

thank you for reply me back but hwinfo is not working. says command not found

Use the typed command dmidecode as root, if not found then: yum install dmidecode
