Cnet Cnad800-ae Usb Adsl Modem

Hi Has anybody got the support for CNET CNAD800-AE USB ADSL Modem. I have tried using the method for Alcatel Usb ADSL Modem which does not work and gives the error that USB MOdem not found though I get the message that plugin pppoatm.so successfully loaded.

I dont know how to make my CNET Modem start working to get Internet connections. My organisation does not want to buy new modem and I want to switch platform from Windows to Linux. I m striving hard but unable to get my way through. Please advice.

Urgently Help is required. The site of the Modem Is:

http://www.cnet.com.tw/padsl.html#

where the specs of the product are given but are incomplete and not sufficient to be able to find drivers for the modem. The modem is I think using Alcatel Chipset.

Though I have tried using the Alcatel Speedtouch Driver but it doesnt work. The lights are flickering but no connections established.

Please advice for a solution.

Thanx

Jimmy
