ClearFog Pro PCIe/WiFi Problems on Debian Linux
Hello,
I have an ARM based ClearFog Pro appliance (comes with 2 mini PCIe slots) and I have been trying to get two special purpose WiFi chips up and running on a Debian Jessie OS image. I have an AW-AB116H WiFi card that has worked pretty steady using the AR9462 chipset in either PCIe slot. I was also trying to get an intel chip running but pretty much had constant problems with it and I would see very odd behavior affecting even the appliance.
A few days ago I came across a new problem where now only PCI-1 bus works and PCI-0 does not. So I have stopped using the intel chip completely however I still have this odd problem even using different sd cards to boot from. After running commands like lspci, lshw, etc I do not see anything unusual on that port. I was hoping that problem was related to the intel card but now I have two atheros chips that I am trying to get work and I still have this weird problem where only one PCI port seems to work which is baffling me. Tomorrow I will try to thoroughly inspect the slot but just looking at it the slot looks fine and the OS still sees the slot but nothing works in it.
I am really hoping someone has some advice, comments, or any kind of help.
Thanks in advance,
Joe
