Checking LVM

I'm running Redhat Enterpise 4 with an attached Apple X-Raid for storage. I just set it up with LVM and everything is working great... Or was, until a power failure. (Yes I did have a UPS, but it only held it up for about 15 minutes)

Anyway, now when I try to boot I get dumped to the rescue prompt saying that my Raid was wasn't clearly umounted. It trys to do an e2fsck but fails with the following error:

Error allocating block bitmap (4): memory allocation failed

Is there a different way to check this volume group? Are there some special LVM tools that should be used instead of fsck?

Thanks!

Just an update for those who care... I was able to uncomment the mount from the FSTAB and get my machine to come up. I then ran a manual mount and it came up.
