Cheap printer

I have Suse 8.2 and win XP and I live in the UK.
What is the cheapest linux compatible printer in TCO for a home user who does not do that much printing (20 pages or less a week) but would like to have photo quality colour prints.

I used to have a HP Desk Jet but it has died and I don't want to spend that much on ink again if I can help it.

i like epson, the ink is cheap compared to canon or hp, and even their least expensive printers last for ages.

for ink you can allway use the refill kits or in some case a printer can be cheeper than the the ink it includes so you can buy a couple printers sell them and keep the ink

yeah, used refill kits on my canon, they want over $40 for just the black tank, epsons' black tank is $16, not worth the effort to refill at that price

there is also a handy utility for the epsons'. "mtink" for checking ink levels, head cleaning and alignment etc.
