changing moniters in fedora

im putting fedora core 2 on my friends computer but im using my moniter and i set it up using my moniter during install, but when i get it back to him how will i tell fedora im using a different moniter. nit he xfree config file?

Yes - I think all you would need to do is rerun xf86config, and select the appropriate (new) monitor. -- J.W.
