Lightbulb changing hd with different ampere needs

hello,
I'm having from old notebook a harddisk and want to copy data from it, the old mainboard is broken and I'm having a newer notebook of the same series but not the same model pins fits into slot and having the same count but the old is a 20GB hd and having needs 5V and 5A the new hd is a 40GB and having needs 5V and 5.5A
so is this a problem when ampere needs are different?

the old is an HITACHI model DK23CA-20
by this the last 4 pins(2 on the upper right side, 2 on the lower right side) were covered

the newer is an FUJITSU model MHS2040AT
the last 2 pins on the bottom having something like a wrapper

both conectors look like

...................... ..
............ ......... ..

I'm using debian

---

I think that I got my answer on this site here
there was a link for troubleshooting hd's for my notebook model and it seems that there were also shippings whit the old hd
