I customized a very minimal Ubuntu (the 9.0mg iso) system on my 2Gb Compact Flash card. The system is blazing fast when its up, but its really kinda strange in 2 ways:
1. after booting GRUB, the "cursor" just blinks for like 5 minutes (or more)
2. after the 5 minutes is up, it actually boots in like, 20 seconds, but not before I get this message:
Code:
Assuming drive cache: write through
Here is my /etc/fstab (no, I didn't write it...)
Code:
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
# /dev/sda1

/dev/scd1 /media/cdrom1 udf,iso9660 user,noauto,exec 0 0

Now, this error is all over the net, and I couldn't find a solution, just about 30-40 pages with people sending in the problem, with no response. So hopefully I get a response
Thanks in advance!
