CentOS unable to enumerate USB device on port 1

I am running a server that uses Centos 6.3, I have a USB wireless card connected to one of the ports in the back and it works. But whenever I start the server without the keyboard plugged in I keep seeing the prompt specified in the title popping up infinitely. I am confused here because there isn't anything plugged into the USB slots except for the wireless card and the keyboard. I want the computer to start up without problem without the keyboard plugged in but whenever I try to turn it on and wait for startup I see the prompt in the title. How can I get it to stop doing this? The wireless USB device works without incident it just keeps coming up and I think it's getting in the way of having the server up and running.

I don't know if this is relevant but I am using the command prompt on this machine because it's a little old to be using the GUI interface. NetworkManager is turned off in favor of network daemon and wpa_supplicant is being used to connect the wireless card to the wireless access point. Thanks for your time.

are there any virtualization options in the bios or uefi of the machine?
if so try enabling them and see if the error goes away.

I have a Dell Dimension 3000 so I am not sure. I will try to check the motherboard some time later unless you can tell me if that is the case.

That was made in 2004 so no uefi, and probably no virtualization stuff in the BIOS.

what do you get when you type lsusb, as root?
