CD won't play

Hello, I hope this question is not too silly. I got a CD-Burrner/DVD-Combi-Drive (only drive in the PC - Philips) and wanted it to installl under Suse 8.1. I got the SCSI-Emulation running and sat the links like it was described on the Suse-Homepage. Now it seems that I can burn CDs with no problems, but I cannot open any CD under Konqueror. Everytime I want to look, if there is any Data, any CD I tried did not run. KSCD opens when I click on the CD- or DVD-Symbol. My Question is:
Did I made anything wrong and how do I get Konqueror as the Application, that starts when I click on the CD/DVD-Icon?

Thanks for help

well if you added the scsi emulation after the rest was all set up then the location of the block device will have changed from /dev/hdc to /dev/scd0 or /dev/sg0 or somethign similar, so if cky nasty kde doesn't update this automatically, you'll need to change any references from the old ide name to the pretend scsi one. maybe this is still hard coded in /etc/fstab?

did you mount the cdrom properly with:

Code:
mount /mnt/cdrom
If you did and still does not work, you might want to try this:

Code:
mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom
Well, that's all I can think about
