cd/dvd burner

I installed nero linux but when i go to run it I can't tell it my recorder because don't have permission to write to it. Well I logged out and logged back in as root and went to /dev/hdc and hdd and went to properties and told it to allow write and read.Well from what I can see it changes itself back so what do I need to make it stick.I want to use K3b but want to remove the old version and download the newest one but not sure of the remove command.Does the newest version come with built in mp3 support or will I still have to download a plugin

To remove type as root: rpm -e k3b

I would think the K3b site would have a listing of all changes/additions in the new version.

Check your /etc/fstab settings.

Here are the contents of /etc/fstab
# This file is edited by fstab-sync - see 'man fstab-sync' for details
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 / ext3 defaults 1 1
LABEL=/boot /boot ext3 defaults 1 2
none /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
none /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
none /sys sysfs defaults 0 0
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/hdd /media/cdrecorder auto pamconsole,fscontext=system_ubject_r:removable_t,ro,exec,noauto,managed 0 0
/dev/hdc /media/cdrom auto pamconsole,fscontext=system_ubject_r:removable_t,ro,exec,noauto,managed 0 0
What do I need to add so that the permissions stick and don't change back
