WOW i'm a newbie, and for some reason is there suppose to be smoke coming out of the front of the ATX case!? THere was, what am I doing wrong!?
Guys I tried it again and no smoke came out, I was so nervous when it did and I think I put a 4 pin switch on a 3pin connector that's why. Anyhow did smoke ever come out for you guys the first time the computer went on? Maybe the soldering of the case to the USB was just knocked into space and smoke came out for a little....
Dude - I'm not sure if this post is serious or a joke or an attempt to be funny. Advice: check the manufacturer's website or your user manual for technical specifications, and assuming that you don't want to damage your PC, don't randomly plug power cables into unknown connectors. Sheesh - it should be pretty obvious that a 4 pin cable and a 3 pin connector are not compatible. As they say, Read The [Fine] Manual. Glad to hear that you didn't short out your system though. Consider yourself pretty lucky. -- J.W.

actually i did read the manual and actually this wasn't a joke, what you need to do is leave the mobo alone and attach the front of the case with mobo and connect the ATX PS main power supply to the mobo and it should be fine
