I am using Fedora Core 6 and I need to add some PC Card info into the CardManager config file and am unable to locate it in Fedora Core .
I know that I could find it in directory /etc/pcmcia/config in the redhat 9 version.
Could you please help me out here.
Currently the directory /etc/pcmcia contains
bluetooth
bluetooth.conf
config.opts
Distribution: RHEL/CentOS/SL 5 i386 and x86_64 pata for IDE in use

Yep, this is correct. The old 2.4 based RHL9 used the directory differently then FC6 now does. The old knowledge no longer applies, sorry. Now, if you plugin the cardbus card is it shown in tail end of the /var/log/messages file??
I am trying to include a Cardbus. Previously I was adding information under "Device driver definition" and "Wireless netword adapters" in the /etc/pcmcia/config file as I had previously mentioned.
# tail /var/log/messages
gives a result with the last line as
" pccard : CardBus card inserted into slot 0 "
I'm in the same situation here...and I'm at a loss, as I actually normally use Slackware. I've installed. It would be nice to see the OP see this to closure.
