i am a new user to linux

i have installed mandrake9.2 in my computer last month. so far am loving it but i have no idea how to install programs or new hardware in my computer. i am used to the easy use of windows.

i have an HP deskjet 932c printer. i tried to install it using printdrake but it keeps asking me for mandrake cd witch i dont have(some one else installed linux in my computer)

is there an easy way to install the printer using commands.

i have the file hpijs for the printer but dont know what to do with it


also i need shockwave flash media player. where should i get it from and how can i install it in mandrake 9.2

i have no idea on how to use linux so please be slow in explaining

You might check LinuxPrinting for help. I've got a 920C here
and had a 932C in the U.S., and they both work great.

Flash player is available, but Shockware is not available for Linux.
That's because Macromedia hasn't made it available.
