cant find usb memory stick in mandrake
 
I have mandrake 9.1 & 10.0 on laptops and Im having a problem finding the usb memory stick. I have a sony 256 mb stick and a Intelligent Stick 2.0 that I recieved with MandrakeMove. Where does the usb stick get loaded at? Also I tried installing MandrakeMove and it cant find the usb stick on install. Where does linux put the usb in /dev/?

The stick will appear as a scsi device, like /dev/sda, etc...

I had once struggled with the issue in Mandrake 10.
What I had done to make it is that I added the string "acpi=on" in the lilo.conf. (Or by the configuration tool )

default lio.conf file has a string "acpi=ht" but I have no clue what "ht" means.

Anyway, that's my story.
