CanoScan FB330P and Xsane (on RH9)

Hi,

Could somebody tell me, what should i do, to get Xsane detect my CanoScan FB330P?
canon-fb330p.sourceforge.net - this page i have seen already and sane-backends (sane-backends-1.0.12-4.i386.rpm), libieee1284 (libieee1284-0.2.8-1.i386.rpm, libieee1284-devel-0.2.8-1.i386.rpm) and stand-alone driver (scan 5.0) is also installed)..

# scan 2552 3508 colour 300 picture.tga
- this command line works! But Xsane will not detect my scanner... Why? Did i do something wrong or what i didnt do at all?
