Hi
I have a RedHat Linux 9 box running with a Canon SP 200 deskjet printer attached to the USB port. The printer's working fine under Windows 2000, but it does not respond under RH.
Is anyone aware of a Linux driver (specifically for RedHat, but sources will do to build from scratch) for this printer?
It was detected at boot time as a USB printer device and I configured it under X Windows using a GNOME printer configuration utility, as a PostScript printer. Everything seems ok until I click on the print test page option. The cups queue starts but it soon gives an error message saying, "printer fault".
Turboprint (
www.turboprint.de) does not support this printer.
Thanks,
Vivek
