Canon Lide30 Scanner & SUSE 10


Hi,

I have seen reports that this scanner works under some Linux distros out-of-the-box. But with Suse 10 it doesn't. Does anyone knows how to make it work with Suse 10?

You need sane installed. Use your suse software installation manager to install it. Then I use kooka (it's a KDE thing) to manage scanning, so you might want to install that too. Take a look at this link:
