Sorry to say, but Canon is one of the worst companies when it comes to Linux support. They don't write any drivers themselves, and also refuse to give out enough interface information for others to write them. I had a Canon scanner myself that's still unsupported now almost 4 years after I got it. I finally gave in an got an Epson all-in-one that is supported instead.
A quick search at
SANE and
LinuxPrinter.org shows nothing with that model number, so I think you're probably out of luck.
