Canon i9900

I've searched the web for anything that can get my Canon i9900 to work with Fedora 5, but I can't get anything to work. I ended up with TurboPrint but I can't figure out how it works. I tried setting the device to every single one of the options, but the printer never responds.

If anybody has gotten this program to work with the i9900, I would appreciate any guidance. Otherwise, I would like to know how to uninstall the program, which I also can't figure out how to do.

Canon is notoriously bad at linux compatibility. That turboprint thing seems to be the only thing out there. If it doesn't work, you may have yourself a paperweight, I'm afraid...
