Canon 1240U Scanner installation

Hii...
I'd appreciate some help with installing my scanner. I am running Mandrake 9.0 as a second OS to Win 98 SE on a Dell deskop 500 mhz with a Canon 1240U USB scanner that runs with the USB port power (no other power supply).
Could someone tell me how to install this piece of hardware?

There are no "official" drivers for this scanner under linux but try this site http://www.buzzard.org.uk/jonathan/scanners-usb.html

Thanks for the link El Kid, I hadn't checked up on my scanner in a while and it looks like its fully supported now.

Funny thing trickykid in looking for that I site i found out my scanner is now supported too :-)
