Maybe the problem just occurred and now Windows would have a problem making a readable filesystem on it as well? If not then perhaps it has to do with differences between the ext2 and NTFS/FAT filesystem format. I don't know. -K |

Got it! It was the UDMA setting! It was set for UMDA6 when I have a ATA100 motherboard!
Did a little hdparm -X69 and BAM! Sweet! It works like a champ now... Thanks all! Time for a beer... Slappycakes |
