Can someone help me understand how to implement this Logitech fix? I'm not getting how to do it.

This article seems to link to how to get Logitech Mouse software working on Linux, but I don't know how to add the stuff he links to, like the Fedora page "Koji for Fedora"

Would be nice to get a smooth mouse again, but it's not the same type of fix as for AMD

That's the repository of the RPM's, you should be able to download the rpm (look for the latest version in the link they posted) and then install it. The following link has instructions on how to install a rpm on Fedora: https://itsfoss.com/install-rpm-files-fedora/

Using a Logitech MX Anywhere 3 on Fedora as I post this. Not one word of that article is current.

Just install Solaar. You just search for it in Fedora's Software app.

I am not sure why you need an app to manage or use a mouse.

I have never needed any app to be able to use a logitech mouse on fedora and I use logitech keyboard & mouse exclusively.

To each his own however.

This is to update the firmware on the device as there was a major security issue with the default firmware on the wireless mouse/keyboard called MouseJack. The vulnerabilities targeted the low level wireless protocol used by Unifying devices, typically mice and keyboards. The issues included the ability to:

Pair new devices with the receiver without user prompting
Inject keystrokes, covering various scenarios
Inject raw HID commands

The update fixes the bug.
