Question Can i install windows onto linux?


I currently have a linux operating system, on my acer aspire one. Can i delete this and install windows xp onto it instead?

yes, just boot from the windows cd and start the install.

Aonther alternative would be to install windows in linux using virtualbox program, works fine for me. i dont use windows much but i have two program that i do run in windows. another advatange is that i dont have to reboot my sytem in order to run any guest operative system.

If this is the version with the SSD, you will need to not use a ramdisk file and you will need to disable read timestamps to prevent a generic (non-netbook version) XP from wearing out the SSD drive prematurely.
