Can Asus M2N8-VMX, GF6100/nF405 motherboard...

Hello all,

I'd like to make my first hand made PC and will run Linux on it. Therefore my question is: Can Linux have any problems, at all, with the following combination of hardware? And how good/bad do you think my choice is?

Motherboard: Asus M2N8-VMX GF6100/nF 405.
Processor: AMD Athlon X2 3800+ Socket AM2.
Memory: 2x 1GB PC-5300 DDR2 Original (DDR-667).

Thanks.
