Can anyone reccomend a wireless pc card?

I am running Red Hat Nine on an old (1999ish) Toshiba Satellite and have been getting some serious wireless headaches trying to get a crappy generic wireless ethernet card to work. I got the thing for free; I guess you get what you pay for. I'm looking into buying a good one with drivers that work. Any reccomendations?

I'm using an Asus wl-167g (usb stick) with gentoo on my powerbook. It cost $36 with shipping from newegg and came with a universal joint so you can point it for better signal. plus it's 802.11 b and g and is suposed to do wpa with wpa_suplicant (I haven't needed this yet)

You don't say what kernel you have, but I assume with RH9, it ain't new. Better be looking for a Prism54 chipset.
