can't open files inside mounted usb drive

I used this usb drive before, but I use the same command "mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/flash"
and now after I mount it, I can't open anything in my usb drive, and it doesn't display all the files I have, why is this?
Code:
debian:/mnt/flash# ls -all
total 52
drwxr--r-- 4 root root 16384 1969-12-31 16:00 .
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 2005-05-18 23:11 ..
-rwxr--r-- 1 root root 1404 2005-05-18 22:24 bootex.log
drwxr--r-- 6 root root 8192 2005-03-30 15:04 Jeremy's Stuff
drwxr--r-- 8 root root 8192 2005-04-30 21:34 nano's
-rwxr--r-- 1 root root 296 2005-03-28 20:32 WMPInfo.xml
debian:/mnt/flash# cd nano's
>
above is after I mounted it.

Thankyou for your help!
