I have a ThinkPad R60, with redhat 9 installed. Kernel is upgraded to 2.6.16.1.
I am installing driver for the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection Adapter.
The driver can be loaded by running "modprobe ipw3945", but the card does't work. And "dmesg |grep -i ipw" gives the following message:
Code:

Here is my installation steps, following the documentation provided in package ipw3945-1.2.2:
Code:

% make
# make install
2. Install ipw3945-1.2.2
% tar xzvf ipw3945-1.2.2.tgz
% cd ipw3945-1.2.2
# make; make install
3. Install the firmware files
#cp ipw3945-ucode-1.14.2/ipw3945.ucode /lib/firmware
4. Install dameon
