Can't get the 3d acceleration and tv tuner to work on Ati rage 128

Here's my problem...
The distribution is Debian, xserver-xfree4.3..The video card is ATI All-In-Wonder Rage 128 Pro 32 MB. I've installed the gatos drivers (http://gatos.sourceforge.net/dri-debug.php) and followed the instructions, but the 3d acceleration and tv tuner don't work at all ..also my screensaver crashes (.... How can I get this stuff to work?

Thank you in advance...
