Hello:
I hope somebody can help me with this problem. When I mount or umount /media/dvd I have no problems, the problmes comes out when I try to eject the device it reports the following error:

I am running SuSE 8.2.
Thanks in advance

How are you entering the 'eject' command? Just 'eject', or 'eject /media/dvd', or 'eject /dev/dvd', or 'eject /mnt/dvd' ??
And are you out of the directory that is holding onto the DVD? What directory are you in when you issue the 'eject' command?

None of the commands work, I mean, I tried eject, eject cdrom, eject /dev/cdrom, eject /media/dvd, and all of them gave me the same error, even as root and from any direcitory happened the same. If I mount the device again I can read it, but I can't eject
Thanks

Use a paper clip and push it into the eject CD hole on the front of the cd-rom

Thanks, but I need to do it through the terminal or pressing the eject button on the drive.
