Can't boot Fedora from DVD

This is the motherboard. http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...px?pid=4305#ov

I downloaded Fedora 19 x64 KDE Spin and burnt the ISO to disk. I used Windows 7 and double clicked the ISO. The window came up and burnt it to disk. The problem I am having is when I boot the computer I can't get it to boot from the cdrom option. I hit F12 and Del. F12 brings up the boot menu. Del gets me into the bios setup. No matter what I select in the boot menu it always boots the default HDD, which is Windows. After I post this I am going to look through the setup again and see if I missed something.

Edit: I am wondering it it just didn't burn the disc the right way. I am going to try a different program and see if that helps.

**Actually, I should have thought if this sooner if I wasn't so tired, I am going to try and boot my SystemRescueCD and see if that works before I waste another dvd.

*** Nope, it won't boot that one either. I know that cd does boot. So it is something in the bios I have to play with. I do have the cdrom set as the first boot device. Second boot device is usb-cdrom and third is the hard drive.

HOW did you "burn" the dvd ?
a DATA dvd will NOT boot !

You must use the "burn image" .
Win7 like vista and xp CAN NOT !!!! burn a iso image by default ,
you MUST use a third party program .

There is a FREE windows program called "CD burnerXP" ,
it burns cd's and DVD's on win7 64 bit

I thought of that later. I tried a disk I had burnt on my other computer through Fedora or Debian. I know it will boot. SystemRescueCD. I can't get that to boot either. I did download another iso burner but if it doesn't boot off of one that does work I am not sure what the problem is.

I hooked up another DVD Drive that I know works. It still does not want to boot from it, not even the Windows reinstall disk that came with the computer. Makes no sense. In the manual it says to make sure the operating system to be installed supports booting from a GPT partition, such as Windows 7 64-bit. I can boot from any hard drive, IDE or SATA. I can also boot from USB. So to work around this, until I can figure out what the problem is, I am going to download unetbootin and burn the Fedora ISO to that. It has to boot from the dvd drive. Why else would I get a Windows disk to reinstall if I needed to if it won't boot from the dvd drive. I have to get Fedora installed. There is no way I am going to stick with just Windows. It is here for a few games and maybe Netflix, that's all.

Well I did get Fedora installed with the usb card. Later I am going to see if I can boot off of a usb-dvd. I am still at a loss as to why this is happening.

I figured it out. In the BIOS there is a section called "Intergrated Peripherals." I was looking around the BIOS and came across it. In there is an option to change the sata ports 4/5 to ide mode. So I tried to boot my SystemRescueCD again and it did boot from the disk drive. So that was all that needed to be done. I don't even really need to keep it set to IDE all the time. Only when I need to boot from the dvd drive. Also I can boot off of an internal dvd drive, that is not in the computer, connected with a cable to the usb port. Also that Fedora 19 disk I burnt using I Windows 7 does work.
