"can't read superblock" with ntfs

OK I recently started using the ntfs rpms to access my windows partitions. I have 2, one (hda1) on the same drive as my linux partition and 1 that takes up an entire second drive (hdb1). I got it working fine and had it working at boot up as well but then noticed that my kernel had been updated. So I rebooted with the new kernel and installed a new RPM for that kernel. I tried mounting hda1 and it worked fine. I rebooted and, while it can load hda1 just fine, it says "can't read superblock" for hdb1. Does anyone know why it is working for one drive but not the other? I booted into windows and it can read hdb1 just fine...
