Can't find graphics card because greater than 64 PCI busses... how to fix?
 

Here's what I got...

Linux 3.0 Enterprise AS 32 bit
On Board ATI radeon 7000
Xeon Processors

My problem is I have more than 64 entries on my LSPCI table. Apparently, when you run Xconfig, it only looks in the first 64 entries for a graphics card, otherwise it returns a "No devices found to configure" sort of error. The on board card sits at the very end of the lspci list at entry 75. I guess they figured who would ever have more than 64 entries... The other problem is that no physical slot is in the first 64 entries either so I can't use another graphics controller because it would still fall outside the first 64 entries.

I can use the onboard video controller to load the x server if and only if I specify the BusID as ISA and the driver as vesa (instead of the PCI bus that it is on and radeon as the driver).

It is my understanding that Linux populates this list independant of what BIOS does numbering wise (this may or may not be correct however). My question is how can I (if I can) change the order of the numbering to accomodate this problem? Or is there some other solution to get xconfig to see the graphics card on the proper bus and use the proper driver? :scratch:
