Can't connect to the internet, need help !
I am running RH9, and everything seems 2 be working fine except I can't connect to the internet. I have 3 computers set up to my router, all working fine, except my Linux box, which won't connect to the internet.
I'm using a standard ethernet connection, plugged it into the router, and I can't go online, since it does not recognize my ethernet card, and I have been searching everywhere, wondering if anyone has found linux drivers for my ethernet card. Or anything else I can do to get it to work. Because I had thought ethernet cards did not need drivers. I went to the Internet Configuration Wizard, just like in the tutorial @ Redhat's site, only to find that I'm stuck at the part since it does not recognize that there is a card in my machine. What can I do? Get a different card? Or is there some things I can do to make mine work? I'm totally lost. Thanks in advance. |
Bump. Sorry :( ...

It would help if you note the manufacturer and type of your Network Card. Maybe there is a driver to be found... (the automatic detection seems to fail sometimes in RH)...
