can't configure sound card in Red Hat Linux 8.0 Help Me!!
 
I can't configure sound card in Red Hat Linux 8.0.When I try to pa CD,
I can't increase the volume.Somebody please help me!!

Install ALSA.
Try wget alsa

Then you will need to configure the settings in ALSA.
Take a look at my settings (http://www.so-pro.co.uk but bear in mind i have 2 cards installed).
