Can't automount Sony Walkman

Hi all!
I have a problem with my Sony Walkman,i running Kubuntu 8.04 and before i upgraded from 7.10 to 8.04 i have no problem with automounting the Walkman but now i must mount the device manually,, anyone? there is no problem to automount Digital cameras and so on it's only the Walkman there is problem with.
Someone out there who has a solution to this i would be very happy!

What hal version is installed ?
Can you compare the new 8.04 hal packages with the old 7.10 ones, maybe on a CD or a repository ? Especially the .fdi files.
When you plug the walkman in, what do you have at the end of /var/log/messages.log (or equivalent file) ? or what is the output of the lsusb command ?
I have a Sony walkman and it automounts well on my machine with Arch linux and the packages :
hal 0.5.12git20090421.4fc367-2
hal-info 0.20090414-1

Ask a Kubuntu forum or file a bug report to the Kubuntu devs.
