Can't access USB stick
Hi!
Everytime I plug in my USB flash drive, I get the following error: A security policy in place prevents this sender from sending this message to this recipient, see message bus configuration file (rejected message had interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" member "Mount" error name "(unset)" destination "org.freedesktop.Hal") But when I use root, I can access it. Does anyone know how to give rights on normal users? Thanks. |
Problem solved. This seems to be a bug in hal daemon. I edited /etc/dbus-1/systems.d/hal.conf and included the user "1000" which is my uid in the users of hal. Thanks.
