camera not found in cheese after upgrade to Karmic

I just did a fresh install of Karmic Koala, installed cheese and it can't find the camera. I have a dell xps 1330 with built in web cam.

Assuming it is a USB camera. Run "lsusb" to ensure that the system sees it, and look at the syslog (a.k.a. /var/log/syslog) before and after you install the camera to see what is says and report back with a cut&patse of your results.

After I restarted my computer, the camera works.
