and the i haven't been able to burn anything...i have tried k3b, cdrecord, and xcdroast; yet they all don't work...
under k3b, while burning w/ the dvd-rw, the little dialog box pops up, the disc spins, yet there is no text in the box, which should talk about starting soon, starting buffer underrun, and stuff like that.
also under k3b, the cdrw will start its buffer underrun protection, and then the disc will spin up and stop, spin up and stop, and just keep doing that continuously w/o stopping or announcing anything new
And both of them *used* to work about 3 weeks ago...
Oh, and also they both read cds (and dvd for the dvdrw) w/o any problem still, but they both refuse to burn in any capacity
nope, it stopped working during a long session of burning dvds, but the cd thing was frustrating considering how i hadn't used the cd burner during that session
so i took the dvd drive out and put it in another computer, which it worked in, and now i returned it to my own, and it doesn't work...
for xcdroast it pauses, but i just tried burning acd w/ k3b, and after a few tries (and restarting the program) it is working... but this is only after pausing for a few mintues, and doing nothing, and also claiming there was no cd, then there was a cd that was burnt, and then finally it worked.
But this is only for k3b cds on the memorex, the tsstcorp still flakes out on me...
