Buliding a low budget linux box.


well i want to build a low budget linux box so i have AMD sempron 2800 and 512 kingstone DDR
the problem is that there is two motherboards socket 754 and i don't know which one support linux

1-ABIT NV8

chipset:- -NVIDIA NF4-4X single chip
-integrated NVIDIA GIGABYTE Ethernet and NVIDIA Firewall
-Supports NV radio.

2-GIGABYTE GA-K8U

chipset:- -ULIM1689 Chipset
-Super I/O :SMSC lpc47m997-NR

-integrated pheripherals
1-Realtek 8100c ethernet controller
2-Realtek ALC850 Audio AC'97 codec

From what I can see this is all standard hardware that is almost always supported by all major distros
